As an HGV Technician at Setanta Vehicle Sales, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Repair and maintenance of alternative fuel vehicles (Electric/CNG/Hydrogen)
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete service records and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with a strong understanding of HGV systems and components
- Relevant qualifications in automotive engineering or a related field
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism

Setanta Vehicle Sales North, a reputable Renault Truck and Van Dealer located in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15, is seeking an experienced Van Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing our van sales and contract hire offerings to fleet businesses in the greater Dublin area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet businesses in the greater Dublin area.
- Drive van sales and contract hire opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to maximize overall sales performance.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in van sales.
- Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean driving license.
