Position: Contracts Manager

Location: Dublin 12

Setanta South are looking for a Contract Manager to manage Waste Vehicle Fleets? the successful candidate will manage operations, ensuring seamless management of customer vehicles and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of customer vehicles on Contract Hire, including servicing, preventative maintenance, vehicle inspections, testing, tacho calibrations, and tax compliance.
  • Monitor and ensure all contractual obligations are met, including timely servicing and maintenance schedules.
  • Handle invoicing for hire contracts and manage cost monitoring to optimize profitability.
  • Coordinate with the service department to schedule bookings and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Organize and manage a replacement vehicle fleet to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Liaise with customers to organize regular meetings and address any concerns or queries promptly.
  • Effectively manage sub-contractors and outsource work to other dealers within the network as needed.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with customers to review contract performance and address any issues proactively.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Waste and/or Commercial Vehicle Industry preferred.
  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the waste or commercial vehicle sector.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently, ensuring deadlines and targets are met consistently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements, regulations, and compliance standards.
